Sleek Blush in Flamingo

I got this blush almost a month ago and I decided to test it out for a while before I actually say something about it on this blog. So this is the blush in Flamingo comparing this color to the other 2 sleek blushes I have this one is more darker than pixie pink, but evidently lighter than scandalous since that one is a bright red. It looks matte but I have to say that I get hints of sheen to it. Very soft powder, very blendable and the color although its pink, it is very unique. It's like a neon pink but not too crazy so it can still be worn for everyday use and with a lot of looks.Staying power is pretty good too. Price is pretty just especially for how much you're getting because it is very pigmented and you hardly need to put your brush in it.

Shirts from Vinyl on Vinyl

I went to the DLSU comic convention earlier not cause I'm a big cosplay fan but rather I was required to do so.haha. well yeah anyway I got these too uber cool shirts from vinyl on vinyl a nice urban art brand I guess and its so nice this cute artist made these designs as well as some other graphic paintings which were too expensive for me to just randomly get so I just got two shirts instead for php 1100.

if you can't see clearly the first shirt is just a goldfish in some bowl with some food in them. I bought this because this remindd me of my dead goldfish named bubbles and then I got the other shirt which looked like a dude with a serious hangover or something.haha but the artist told me that its more of him as a soccer player before and blah blah I forgot the story.haha

might visit their store soon ;)

Sleek I-Divine Storm Palette

Got this around 2 weeks ago and I waited for so long to get this because everyone was raving about it and I'm just a sucker for products that are loved by many cause its a good indicator that it is worth my money. I saw this particular palette in some bazaars that I went to during the holidays and at first glance I wasn't really impressed with it because it was rather small than what I have imagined and the colors are pretty easy to find. Actually I'll go ahead and say that although this is an overall awesome palette, it isn't really that special since most of the colors can be duped using the 88 warm palette from Coastal Scents or some other make up companies that sells the warm palette. What I like about this that it's very compact , the colors are very pigmented, easily blendable and doesn't crease even without primer (atleast on me). I love the packaging itself because looking at each pan, it has a pretty pattern on it and the outside packaging is a practical black matte color with just the sleek logo and the description at the back. This palette has been compared to Urban Decay's NAKED Palette, I don't know if its true, but this palette has definitely made a name of its own in the make up community.

Great pigmentation. Best Matte Black Color I have ever swatched and used. The Dark Green is very legit too.. whatever color you see on the pan, when swatched it remains the same , it doesn't go chalky or lighter than what it seems.

comes in four shades: black, charcoal, brown and eggplant

I LOVE THIS GEL LINER! LOL. Never been a fan of gel liners because looking at how people do it, i really thought that it would be hard and it would take a lot of effort but now, i just can't go back to pencil liners, because this one was super easy to use, the brush that comes with the liner is a bit domed or pointed or i don't know all i can say is that it makes the work easier. I've also tried using my Sigma slanted gel liner and the one with a fine tip and it worked great as well. This gel liner is very very pigmented, easy to smudge if you really want to, stays on all day, no transfer, no smudging, no nothing. Very soft and you just have to wait for a few seconds and it dries to perfection.I'm not sure if you could use this in your waterline, I don't think you should but I have tried it once and there were no irritations or anything. This can be easily removed but as for the waterproof claim, I'm not really sure because it did smudge a bit when i tried testing that part. But all in all this deserves all the hype that it has been getting and I hope to see more great products from the drugstore.

Today's haul : mini shopping trip

I had free time on my hands today so I have decided to go the mall and check out the lush sale. They were having a 50% off on their christmas items and also some items that were being discontinued like the something something of roses, demon in the dark , ice blue soap and that other thing which I did not love. I got a huge chunk of demon in the dark and ice blue I got them cut too little pieces so I can use them sparingly to avoid wasting product because lush is pretty expensive for a bath soap and some of the formulations are creamy so they tend to melt with water and heat inside the bathroom. I keep them in my lush tin. I got the candy cane soap from the christmas collection and its smells exactly like almonds and peppermint. I got ice blue soap which smells like a mans perfume, strong but still pleasant and it really gives me a refreshing feeling as I have tried it before. Then I got demon in the dark which was my favorite soap.. smells like strong peppermint that was meant to wake you up in the morning and it is very effective in doing so. I hated the fact that they had to take those out and replace with some new ones which I did not like.

I also got my hands on the Revlon lipbutters that everyone had been raving about on youtube. I believe that it has been recently released here in the Philippines a couple of days back. I got sugar plum and I'm planning to use it as an everyday color purple sheer goodness and also the candy apple which is a bright red color. There's no smell to these lipsticks but to me that would just be fine rather than to have the traditional lipstick smell. There are 20 shades for this line and it is relatively cheap compared to the color bursts ones but the pricing is not really that different. had to stop myself from opening these because I wanted to wait for atleast a few weeks or even a month because I wanted to use what I have first cause I know that once I get a shiny new thing, I completely ignore my other lip products. *Sigh*

Maybelline Long Extreme Lash Stiletto Mascara

I have been using this mascara for over a month and I must say that I like it but I can't really say I love it or it has helped my look in a ginormous way. It claims to lengthen your eyelashes by 70% I think and is waterproof. I really cannot remember what else is there for this product, but it is basically a lengthening mascara. It has a brush applicator real bristles not the plastic ones like lash blast.

First, I would just like to say that I love the packaging, very classy, and shaped like a stiletto heel although at first glance I didn't really notice that and bought i because it was on sale and that it was one of the prettiest packaging in the Maybelline Mascara line. The lady asked me what I wanted: a lengthening , curling or a volumizing one and would I like it in waterproof or just the regular one. I really had a hard time thinking about that but I finally chose lengthening cause I thought I wouldn't want a lot of short lashes cause that would be silly. So I got this and at first try I loved it although it dries slowly and you have to comb you lashes a few times just to make sure that the fibers in the formula wont go stray and look clumpy and down right yucky. What I just do is that once I have applied it to my upper lashes , i just close my eyes so that some of the ink/pigment whatever goes down my lower lashes just so I don't have to try as hard to put them there myself as I am new to mascara and not really the best one to apply that to me or to anyone else. I like that once it sets, It won't move for the rest of the day. Holds the curl, doesn't smudge and pretty easy to take off once you get use to the formula. I like the fact that I see the fibers in the wand that way I know that it has really something that can help lengthen my lashes. It was very effective for that claim, what I don't love is that my lashes now looks long but thin. So now I think I'm willing to go get a volumizing one or a mascara that could do both for me. In my last haul I already bought another mascara the hyper curl one. Lengthens, volumizes and curls but I dunno.. I'll see which one is better and is worth repurchasing soon :)

I-Feel-Blessed Haul

Some might find it weird that I actually gave this one a weird title. Just couldn't think of anything catchy at the moment but I'm just really thankful for the gifts I have received today :) I got a very pretty Tommy Hilfiger shoulder bag (left), a Kenneth Cole Reaction Wallet in Black (I needed this one because my Coach wallet didn't have that zipper thing that secures all the stuff inside my wallet) , I got an Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 which I have wanted to try for a while and then I got a pretty Nine West Shoulder/Hand Bag.

I also tried to organize my bags awhile ago and I've realized that there are a lot of unused bags in there, a lot off branded ones that have been touched once or have not even been taken out of its packaging and I am definitely not going to get a new bag anytime soon cause I want to put all those into good use because they are all nice and are too expensive to just rot in my bag cabinets. Right now I'm using my brother's christmas present which was a Charles and Keith Brown Hand/Messenger type bag thing with gold chain hardware, very big, very pretty, perfect for school :>

Strolling at the Nearest Mall Haul

(sorry if its upside down dunno why but i couldn't rotate it) :(

Went to Cash and Carry after class and after having a short lunch date, I got me a few things to keep me busy during the first week of classes. I got an Entrepreneur magazine because I was planning to create my own business since I am graduating soon and I don't think that I would fit in to the regular work force once I'm done so I'm creating a pretty strong safety net for myself and I'm very happy about that :) I got a Blush magazine, my favorite magazine so far which immediately started when I found its first issue because it has a lot of stuff about make up and skincare, less adds, less things that I don't really read.. so I love that, I got just some nail polish remover from sassy and then Maybelline was having a 20% off at Cash and Carry so I decided to pick up the Volum' Express Hyper Curl Waterproof Mascara as I have been trying to practice using a mascara and figuring out what I needed for my eyes whether it would be to volumize or to lengthen it. I think I need both and this mascara claimed to do that plus, to curl my lashes without me, curling it manually. So we'll see how that goes but I plan to open it after a month because I'm still using my Lash Stiletto one which will be reviewed soon ;)

Beauty Haul ft. Sleek

Hooraay! Got some stuff from sweetypink charms, an awesome seller who gets stuff for me from US and UK her prices are affordable not like others who inflates prices like there's no tomorrow.

I got a acrylic lipstick holder with 24 slots, 2 sleek blushes in flamingo and pixie pink (which I already have) and a sleek storm palettte. There are no regrets from this purchase because the products are awesome, very pigmented and everything else that you would consider when buying make up products. Will scrutinize each one and will post my thoughts on them soon..with swatches of course :)

ps. Totally worth it even my mom loved the products I got she usually gets mad when I buy more make up. Haha

xo. ;)

Shedding my Christmas Pounds.

Trying to find healthy snacks to help with my struggling diet regimen. These are the things I got from healthy options. Mostly granola bars which are freaking good. They don't taste like the icky whole wheat bars you get from the supermarket, they do taste like a real chocolate treat with less carbs and sugar and all that unnecessary stuff for dieters. I also love the fact that most of these are organic , just 100 cal per bar and all the nutrition you need to replace the regular rice/pasta meal :) will try to eat this for a month plus diet pills to help me lose the "burden" :p

I also got the cheddar cheese fries and a carbrite chocolate mint candy bar but I ate it already so I did not get a picture of that. Haha
